POTA activators—Texas needs you! 
The Texas QSO Party is coming up September 19–20, 2026, and there’s a great opportunity for POTA operators to make a real impact.
This map shows the Texas counties that were silent during the 2025 event, overlaid with Texas POTA parks and trails. You may notice that many of those quiet counties have a POTA location waiting to be activated!
That means your next park activation could do more than add another POTA reference to your log—it could help put an entire Texas county on the air and contribute to the statewide effort. 
Whether you operate CW, SSB, or digital, consider planning an activation from one of these underrepresented counties. Invite a friend, take the portable station, and help us spread activity across Texas!
